Grace Pickford (she/her) is an art therapist, counsellor, and yoga teacher who brings a creative and holistic approach to therapy. Working alongside her therapy dog, Jimmy, she offers a supportive and nurturing space for individuals of all ages to explore emotions, process life’s challenges, and reconnect with themselves in a way that feels meaningful.
A special part of her practice is her work with Jimmy, who provides a calming and grounding presence for those who choose to include him. His quiet companionship helps clients feel at ease, particularly those who find traditional talk therapy less accessible. With a deep respect for non-verbal and embodied forms of expression, Grace integrates art therapy, sandplay therapy, movement, breathwork, and mindfulness to support those navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges. She also offers space for existential and spiritual exploration, providing a non-judgmental environment for individuals to reflect on their beliefs, values, and sense of connection in ways that feel right for them.
Grace welcomes neurodivergent individuals, LGBTQIA+ clients, and people from diverse cultural and spiritual backgrounds. She believes in meeting each person where they are, offering creative and embodied ways to explore, express, and heal.
